Placejoys does not own, manage, or operate the businesses listed on the platform. We are not a restaurant, delivery, reservation, or booking provider. Any interaction, transaction, or visit you have with a listed business is solely between you and that business.

3. Eligibility

By using the Service, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction or have legal consent from a guardian;
  • You have the full power and authority to enter into these Terms;
  • You are not prohibited from using the Service under any applicable law.

Placejoys may allow business owners or authorized representatives to claim, manage, or suggest updates to listings. If you manage a listing, you agree that:

  • The information you provide (e.g., name, address, hours, photos, menu highlights) is accurate and not misleading;
  • You will not upload content or run promotions that violate any law or third-party rights.

Placejoys reserves the right to edit, verify, or remove business listing information at any time to maintain quality and accuracy on the platform.

7. User-Generated Content

Users may be able to submit reviews, ratings, photos, suggestions, and other content ("User Content") related to places listed on Placejoys. By submitting User Content, you:

  • Represent that the content is accurate, based on your genuine experience, and not fake or misleading;
  • Confirm that you own or have the necessary rights to share the content;
  • Grant Placejoys a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable license to use, reproduce, display, distribute, adapt, and promote your User Content in connection with the Service.

Placejoys may, but is not obligated to, monitor, edit, or remove User Content that we believe:

  • Violates these Terms or any applicable law;
  • Contains hate speech, harassment, abuse, or explicit content;
  • Infringes on intellectual property or privacy rights;
  • Is spam, promotional, or irrelevant to the platform.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on Placejoys, including but not limited to text, design, logos, graphics, icons, and layout, is owned by or licensed to Placejoys and protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not:

You understand and agree that any decisions you make (such as visiting a place, making a purchase, or trying a service) based on information from Placejoys are made at your own discretion and risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Placejoys and its team members, partners, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising out of or in connection with:
